When companies are looking to hire someone for an HR position, they are looking at experience, education, HR certification, and fit. Surprisingly, less than 15% of HR professionals are certified. With that being said, certification is one way to set yourself apart from the crowd.

SHRM updated the content of the exam in 2025, and this course structure reflects that update. Additionally, after several cycles of providing the "HR Content Sessions Live via Zoom" I have discovered that it is difficult to have active engagement. Thus, the HR Content is available for you with 6 20–30-minute presentations along with PPTs and quiz questions. I have also selected a book that will go along with our HR content presentations that should further reinforce the material presented.
I have been teaching HR Certification Prep Courses for about 30 years now and this format since 2018. Since 2018 I have worked with close to 250 HR professionals from around the country and have a 88%+ pass rate for those who take their HR Certification Exam.
